The
Genoa-Kingston Board of Education is hosting a community meeting to
seek input in the organization and usage of the current school
buildings. The board will address potential for closing schools,
redesigning attendance centers and issuing construction bonds. As you
know school funding in Illinois is a huge challenge not only to our
district but throughout the state. We recognize the need to continue
fiscal responsibility while focusing on student achievement and
innovation. Please come to the Genoa-Kingston High School auditorium on
May 17th at 7:00 p.m. to assist our district in making Genoa-Kingston thrive for years into the future.
